Why Hire Us?

Home renovation projects can get very complicated, especially when architects, engineers, and multiple building trades get involved. You do not manage construction projects for a living, so you have to trust that the people you hired are acting in your best interest. The problem with this approach is that all stakeholders have a profit incentive. By hiring us to be your construction manager, we will ensure all parties perform their work according to the contracts and agreements set forth before work starts. We also will review all plans, permits, and construction work.

What’s The Catch?

Construction managers “for-a-fee” have existed in the commercial and industrial construction market for decades. This service exists to provide clients who are not construction savvy a level playing field with experienced Architect-Engineer Firms and Construction Contractors. Since we have no profit motive, given that we work on a fixed fee basis, we have only your best interest in mind. For instance, if there are change orders/additional costs during the project, we will not receive an increased fee. This fee is agreed upon before the work starts and we will honor this price even if the project takes longer than expected. The fee will only increase if their are homeowner-directed changes that result in additional work for us that was not contemplated in our contract/agreement.

We will then schedule a no-cost in-person consultation at your home to go over the project and discuss how we can provide construction consulting services. After our initial consultation, we will draft a contract/agreement that we will then review together and sign before proceeding.
